The Friar Athletic Association is a partnership between parents, alumni, coaches, teachers and school administration to create the premier destination for the top student-athletes in North Texas. FAA supports the “total person” development of Bishop Lynch student-athletes with a close community of parents, alumni, and community leaders to produce the best facilities and services for all Bishop Lynch sports.  Bishop Lynch has a great Catholic, academic, and athletic brand in North Texas, and the FAA works to advance it. Bishop Lynch families and alumni are looking to invest their passions, time, and treasures in partnership with the school to provide student-athletes with the very best experience in their area of choice.
 
The FAA exists to:   

1. Advance community around all Bishop Lynch sports programs 

2. Raise and direct funds for the small and large needs of each athletic program

3. Give the Athletic Director, school administration, and staff trusted advisors to assist in the leadership of sports programs in the modern world 

4. Give the coaches an outlet to ensure they have what they need to attract, lead, and develop the very best student-athletes for their sport 

5. Be a liaison between parents of student-athletes and the school 

6. Provide parents of Student-Athletes a program where they can invest their time and treasures to ensure their child and those that follow experience the best of high school athletics
